Refund policy
Holiday Return Policy: For orders placed between November 27 - December 20, return & exchange requests will be accepted through January 3, 2026.
We accept domestic (US) returns and exchanges of eligible items within 14 days of delivery using our Returns Portal.
Returns can be submitted for a refund in the form of a store gift card or a refund to the original form of payment.
Returns resulting in a refund to the original form of payment will be subject to a 3% restocking fee, which will be deducted from your refunded amount. Exchanges and refunds in the form of a story gift card are free.
Exchanges can be made for the same product in any size.
Returns & Exchanges
To begin a return or exchange of an item purchased on fortethebrand.com, please go to our Returns Portal.
1. Search for your order by entering your order confirmation number (beginning with "FTB") and email address used when placing your original order.
2. Click "Find Your Order."
3. Select the item(s) that you want to return.
4. Select a return reason and add an explanation as applicable.
5. Select how you would like to receive your refund:
- Exchange your item for a different size
- Receive a refund in the form of a store gift card
- Receive a refund in the form of your original payment (subject to a 3% restock fee which will be deducted from the total amount refunded)
6. If exchanging for a different size, select the replacement size needed.
7. Select "Ship with a return label provided by Forte The Brand" in order to generate a complimentary return shipping label.
8. Submit your return request.
9. If your return/exchange request is approved, you will receive an email with shipping instructions and a complimentary return shipping label. The Returns Portal will also be updated with this information.
Please Note: Your return/exchange must be shipped back within 14 days of the date you received your order, or your request will be canceled.
The returned item(s) will be inspected and subject to rejection if they do not meet all requirements:
- Item is in its original condition, unworn, unwashed, and shows no signs of wear.
- Item has all tags attached and are not tampered with.
- Item has no damage, marks, or stains (including deodorant, makeup, bodily fluids, etc.).
- Item is returned by the 14th day of delivery with proof of purchase.
- Item is not marked final sale.
We reserve the right to reject any item that does not comply with the above requirements. If your return is not accepted, it will be returned to you with shipping costs at your expense.
Return processing times are currently 5-7 business days once the return is received.
Refunds
Once your return is received, inspected, and approved, your refund will be issued to the method selected (original form of payment or store gift card). Refunds to your original form of payment can take up to 7-10 business days to appear in your bank account due to varying processing times between financial organizations.
If you opted for a refund in the form of a store gift card, the digital gift card will be emailed to you once the return is processed.
Exchanges
Once your exchange is processed, we will generate a new order number with your desired product/size, which will be emailed to you. This ensures that your desired product is reserved for you until your original order has been received, inspected, and approved for exchange.
Your new order will be shipped according to our standard processing & shipping timelines. If you do not ship back your original order within 14 days of its delivery, or your original order does not comply with our return requirements, your new order will not be shipped and reserved products will be restocked for the public.
Damages and issues
If you receive a faulty or defective item, please email us immediately at info@fortethebrand.com. We proudly extend a product warranty for items reported within 2 days of delivery to you. If you do not report a faulty item within this time frame, it will not be covered under our warranty as we cannot ensure the item is unworn.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), personal care goods (such as beauty products), and branded merchandise. We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on items marked final sale, or gift cards.
We do not currently accept returns for international orders.
